Terms of Service

1. The service

beGEO is a software platform that audits a website for technical SEO and AI-readiness, tracks how AI answer engines reference it, and generates content intended to improve that visibility. Features, limits, and pricing may change as the product evolves, especially during this early-access period.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You need an account to use most features. Authentication is handled by our identity provider (Clerk). You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. During closed testing, access may be gated by a waitlist and can be granted or revoked at our discretion.

3. Acceptable use

When you submit a domain for analysis, you represent that you own it or are otherwise authorized to have it analyzed. You agree not to:

• submit sites, or generate content, in violation of any law or third-party right;
• use the service to attack, overload, scrape, or probe sites you don't control;
• resell, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its underlying APIs;
• attempt to bypass usage metering, access controls, or rate limits.

4. Gems, plans & payment

Usage is metered in Gems, a prepaid in-app unit with no cash value that is consumed when the platform does paid work for you (an audit, a generated article, a visibility scan). Your plan refills a set number of Gems each billing cycle — for paid plans on your renewal date, and on Free at the start of each calendar month; unused Gems don't roll over. Consumed Gems are non-refundable. Paid plans are not yet live; when they launch, the specific pricing and billing terms shown at checkout will apply. See Pricing.

5. AI-generated content

The platform produces drafts using third-party AI models. Output can be inaccurate, and no ranking, citation, or traffic outcome is guaranteed. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you publish it. As between you and us, you own the content you generate, subject to the terms of the underlying model providers; you are responsible for ensuring your use of it is lawful and non-infringing.

6. Third-party connections

If you connect a third-party account (for example, Google Search Console), you authorize us to access that data to provide the relevant features, and your use of that service remains subject to its own terms. How we handle connected data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The beGEO software, brand, and site are ours. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any SEO/GEO result will be achieved.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, beGEO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
